Jeff Zaltman (Founder and Managing Director)

Jeff, an experienced pilot, is the founder of Flying Aces and creator of the Aero GP series. He spent four years in military aviation with the US Navy as an avionics engineer working with weapon systems in attack bombers whiles onboard an aircraft carrier. He was one of the few sailors of his rank to earn the distinctive title “Air Warfare Specialist.” In his professional career, he has significant operations and consulting experience building start-ups and joint ventures both in Europe and in the US.

He has designed and run large-scale international ‘war-games’ for government organizations; helped build telecommunications networks; and has been manager of European mergers & acquisitions and venture capital efforts for Ford Motor Company and oversaw Ford’s European internal audit teams.

He is also the Director for Promotion and Sales in the Formula Air Racing Association of the Royal Aero Club. Jeff holds an MBA degree from the London Business School, a BSc in Broadcast Journalism and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.

Jeff also owned an aircraft hire company and is well-networked in the aviation, sports and TV communities. Jeff has worked on building the Flying Aces business for six years, the past four years full time.
